114-year-old Mountain View Baptist Church commits to ‘public partnership’
Summary
In fall 2022, FOX Carolina shared the story of Mountain View Baptist Church taking worship beyond our walls with an outdoor service at Unity Park. The report looked back on our church’s more than century-long presence in West Greenville and highlighted the generations of members who have helped make Mountain View a place of faith, education, service and community partnership.
For our church family, this coverage reflects something we continue to believe deeply: ministry is not confined to a building. By gathering in a public space and speaking openly about mental health, education, health care and economic opportunity, we were able to carry a message of hope directly into the community and invite our neighbors to be part of the conversation.
